I’ve always been one to take lots of photos – I love to keep a record of the things I get up to and the pretty things I see. I often look back through my photos and they make me smile. I take my trusty iPhone with me everywhere I go and, up until a few months ago, this served me well. However, I was looking for something a bit more with a better quality of photos and the ability to play around a bit more with focus and shutter speed. So, after much research, I purchased the Olympus Pen E-PL7. It’s a beautiful camera with a nostalgic retro quality and {the best bit} it has built in wifi so I can quickly upload the photos to my phone for instagram or to send to friends and family. Gone are the days where I have to plug my camera into my computer to download. It’s so instant.
As a result of purchasing my new camera I’ve started to take a lot more photos – who knew that was even possible. I’ve only had it a few short months and I already have about 3000 photos. So {rather than bombard instagram any more than I already do…} I thought it would be a nice idea to start a monthly photo diary, uploading a photo round up of the month. So new year, new me and all that…here goes…
January was full of beautiful skies, {lots of} coffee and late nights, fresh air and winter walks, pretty flowers {and signs of spring}, cosy fires and weekends at home.
