Yay for my birthday month! Lots of fun and cake and flowers and general birthday loveliness, including some trips to the seaside and two beautiful weddings. Such amazing weather this month. Hello Summer!
I’ve always been a big fan of the BBC Good Food website – it’s full of fantastic recipes spanning such a variety of food types from hearty suppers, to yummy treats for special occasions and healthy meals. Whenever I feel like I’m in a food rut I always turn to the website and it never disappoints. When I made a visit a few weeks ago it had a lovely summer suppers section and I immediately homed in on this cod dish. I loved the sound of everything on the ingredients list. We’ve since made it a few times, including by the good hubby himself and it’s a really straight forward super yummy midweek supper. It’s ready within 30 minutes and it is a really satisfying dish.
I was working from home the other day and had the joy of catching the rather gorgeous Body Coach on the tv talking about healthier snack options. I’ve tried a few of his recipes before and they have always been popular in this house so I was keen to try what he had on offer for snackage. I couldn’t resist the spiced tortilla chips and ranch dip.
