I went to Granger & Co. for a rather early (pre-work!) breakfast with two of my lovely friends last week. This was my second trip to Granger & Co. and I knew before I got there what I was going to have. The thing is the first time I went there I had a lovely brunch of avocado on toast (a fave of mine) but afterwards I kept hearing people talk about the amazing ricotta hotcakes and couldn’t help but feel I had missed a trick. No such problem for my second visit – I wasn’t making the same mistake twice. In fact all three of us ended up having the hotcakes so I would have had some serious food envy if I hadn’t opted for them too! They are so deliciously light and fluffy, a great alternative to buttermilk pancakes.
